Want to hear something we think is perhaps the most corrupt, low life scheme found in Schenectady County?

Damonni Farley profited nearly $600,000 (https://www.timesunion.com/news/article/schenectady-schools-change-rules-employee-earns-17772023.php) in “consulting” for the Schenectady City School District - while not one single kid passed the NYS 8th grade math test in 2022. This double dipper had a day job at the school and was paid additional money to “consult” - taking the money for himself while the students continued to struggle. Makes you wonder how some people sleep at night - but that’s the swamp for you. 

Most people would be happy if they had two taxpayer funded jobs and raked home hundreds of thousands of dollars. For Damonni it wasn’t enough as he fought tooth and nail to stay in politics with the city council. 

But if there is some semblance of justice in the world, we may rid the Schenectady Swamp of Damonni Farley once and for all - as it appears not everyone was happy to be stroking him checks. Gary and his cronies made sure Farley did not get the nomination from the Democratic Party to run for city council again in 2025. Perhaps, with any luck the swamp will be one step closer to clean! But we won’t be holding our breath.
